Easy Sausage Biscuits & Gravy

Here is an easy and fast Sausage Biscuits and Gravy recipe that my family loves.

We aren't big sausage eaters in our home, but I LOVE that I can add as much or as little sausage in our meals. The best part is that I don't have to drain any grease! 

You can also use our Freeze Dried Sausage in omelets, on pizza, chili, and your spaghetti sauce. You can even snack on it right out of the can!


Sausage Biscuits & Gravy 
3/4 cup of THRIVE FD Sausage
1/4 cup of THRIVE Sour Cream
1/4 cup THRIVE Instant Milk
3/4 cup of THRIVE Bechamel Sauce
1/2 tsp THRIVE Chefs Choice (can add more to taste)
1/2 tsp THRIVE Peppercorn
2 TBSP butter
3 cups of Water

Reconstitute the sausage in hot water and drain the access water. Melt butter in a frying pan. Saute the sausage in the butter. Add the 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Add the rest of the ingredients in pan. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until it thickens.
Spoon over your favorite biscuits.

You can make this as a Meal in A Jar. Bag the sausage in a separate bag. Layer the other ingredients in a mason quart size jar. Place sausage bag on top of ingredients. Seal jar.
